The short version: Billcheck reads your bill and points out what may be worth questioning. You decide what to do with it.

What Billcheck is
Billcheck is a medical bill review tool run by Cooli AI. It is not a law firm, not a lawyer, and not a health care provider. Nothing on Billcheck is legal, medical, tax or financial advice. Our letters are templates filled in with facts from your bill; you choose whether to send them and you are responsible for what you send. If you need legal advice, talk to a lawyer or your state's consumer protection office.
What the scan can and can't do
The scan is done by AI and can be wrong. It can miss problems, and something it marks may turn out to have a good explanation. We mark findings as "likely" or "worth asking" to reflect that. We do not promise that your bill will be corrected or reduced, or that you will save any money.
Please check every letter before you send it, especially names, addresses, account numbers and amounts.
Free scans
The scan is free, with a limit of 3 per person per day. Upload only bills that are yours, or that you have permission to handle (for example, for a family member you help).
The full review
The full review costs $39, paid once through Stripe, for one case. We only offer it when the scan found something worth asking about. If we can't deliver your review because of a problem on our side, or you were charged by mistake, email hello@cooli.ai and we will refund you.
Your files
You keep all rights to your documents. We use them only to scan your bill and write your letters, and we delete them as described in our privacy policy.
Fair use
Don't upload anything illegal, anything that isn't a bill or insurance statement on purpose, or files meant to break or overload the service.
Liability
Billcheck is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Cooli AI is not liable for decisions you make based on a scan or letter, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for that case.
